Abstract No.16 Crib5 Velvet Fabric
Sharp diagonals and broken planes give Abstract No.16 a sense of movement even before it reaches the furniture. Coral, orange and navy shapes cut across a warm cream ground, creating an angular modernist print that feels crisp, architectural and distinctly contemporary.
The pale base makes the design easier to integrate than a fully saturated multicolour fabric. It can sharpen a neutral living room, animate a streamlined sofa or introduce an art-led note to reception seating. For calmer companions, our neutral upholstery fabric collection provides understated textures and plains.
Printed onto 100% polyester velvet, Abstract No.16 combines a soft pile with permanent Crib5 flame-retardant performance. Its 40,000+ Martindale rub count supports frequent use on domestic furniture, hospitality seating and commercial banquettes. More performance-led patterns are gathered in the Crib5 printed velvet collection.
The usable width is 140cm, carrying five full 28cm horizontal repeats; the vertical repeat is also 28cm. It is £65 per metre or £85 with soil and stain treatment. Order a £2 sample and visit the Abstract velvet collection to compare this light-ground design with darker alternatives.
