Kintsu No.9 Japanese Velvet Upholstery Fabric
Inspired by the winding landscapes and spiritual serenity of Japanese art, Kintsu No.9 captures an imagined dreamscape of rolling green hills, snow-dappled pines, and distant skies. Printed on luxurious velvet, this richly detailed upholstery fabric invites depth, tactility, and movement into any interior. The palette blends moss, jade, and pine with soft neutral hills, making it a tranquil yet visually layered statement.
The 140cm width and dense pile make this fabric ideal for curtains, blinds, and general domestic upholstery. Its 28cm pattern repeat ensures design flow and artistic scale on larger pieces. Kintsu No.9 is part of the Kintsu Velvet Upholstery Fabric Collection, a range that reinterprets traditional Japanese motifs with a dramatic modern twist. You can also explore its natural fibre companion in the Kintsu Linen Upholstery Fabric Collection for lighter-weight projects.
Its mossy tones also place it perfectly within our Green Upholstery Fabric Collection, offering designers a bold alternative to plain forest or sage shades.
