Pavone No.7 Crib5 Velvet Fabric
Not every statement fabric needs a saturated ground. Pavone No.7 uses slate grey, muted sage and amber to give its bird and foliage pattern a cooler, architectural mood. The restrained base makes the design surprisingly versatile, bringing detail to a bench, armchair or bedroom seat without overwhelming a compact interior.
Printed onto 100% polyester velvet, the surface has a soft handle and subtle lustre that shifts with the light. The basecloth is permanently Crib5 flame retardant and achieves 40,000+ Martindale rubs, so this is a practical patterned velvet for domestic upholstery and for commercial spaces where both visual identity and performance matter. The cooler palette makes it a useful bridge between plain neutrals and more expressive pattern.
Combine it with stone, charcoal and natural oak, or add amber accessories to pick up the warmer notes. Browse related neutrals in the grey upholstery fabric collection. Designers working with limited floor space may also find our small-room upholstery guide helpful; every Pavone velvet colourway can be compared in the collection.
Pavone No.7 is 140cm wide with a 28cm repeat. It is available at £62 per metre, with £2 samples offered to confirm the grey-blue balance, motif scale and velvet texture before ordering.
