Pavone No.9 Crib5 Velvet Fabric
Pavone No.9 is the collection at its most exuberant. Coral and pink peonies, layered green leaves and a poised peacock emerge from a dark ground, creating a multicolour velvet that can establish an entire room palette from a single piece of furniture. It is ideal for a showpiece chair, a compact sofa or hospitality seating intended to be remembered.
Colour and performance are given equal weight. The design is printed on 100% polyester velvet with permanent Crib5 flame-retardant properties and a 40,000+ Martindale rub count. The cloth is appropriate for contract and domestic upholstery, as well as decorative curtains or blinds where a dense, tactile finish is desired.
Pull out one or two shades for surrounding paint and cushions rather than matching every colour. Our advice on mixing plain and patterned upholstery fabrics shows how to create that balance, while the statement fabric guide helps with scale and placement. Pavone No.9 is 140cm wide with a 28cm repeat and costs £62 per metre. A £2 sample is recommended to view the full colour range and velvet pile in the intended light.
